Petro-Diamond Japan Corporation (PDJ), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation (MC), was established on April 1, 2002 to specialize in sales of marine products, including bunker fuel oil and marine lubricants. MC's business investments have been in this business since 1954, and throughout the years have established themselves as credible, dependable suppliers of marine products. Building upon this strong reputation, PDJ now supplies marine products to shipping companies throughout the world, as well as to the fleet of ships owned by MC's business investments. The company has posted sales figures of approximately 3.5 million metric tons for bunker fuel oil and 30,000 kiloliters for marine lubricants. From April 2003, the company began to deal in base oil and other lubricants. With many highly experienced staff in both trading and operation, PDJ is continuously seeking to provide services to satisfy all the essential needs of ship owners, including consultation and risk management.
