(PDS) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation(MC) that was established in 1989 as a strategic foothold for developing its energy business in Southeast Asia. The company is involved in a wide range of business activities as MC's primary base for trading crude oil, petroleum products, LPG, and carbon products.
Located in Singapore, the center of trade for petroleum in Southeast Asia, PDS has developed strong business links with regional customers including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and India. Through superior customer service and close cooperation between the head office and regional offices, PDS trades around ten million tons of products every year.
Recent years have seen the establishment of new oil refineries by Asian countries, together with a number of mega-mergers, which brought about dramatic changes in product distribution.
