MC Kaiun Co., Ltd. was established in 1992 in partnership with two major domestic shipping companies, Ueno Kosan Ltd (a wholly-owned company of Uyeno Transtech Ltd.) and Tsurumi Yuso Co., Ltd. (now Tsurumi Sunmarine Co., Ltd). The company domestically transports crude and fuel oil for electric power companies and fuel oil for general industries.
