Since its establishment in 1980, MC Marine Co., Ltd. has been engaged in the management and safety control of tankers possessed and operated by MC. With the establishment of Diamond Tanker Pte. Ltd (DT) in Singapore in April 2005, tankers possessed and operated by MC were subsequently placed under the authority of this new company. While collaborating with DT, MC Marine will continue its activities in the area of tanker management and safety control. As demand for oil in Asia continues to grow, MC's tankers for crude oil and petroleum products are operating over larger areas and their navigational routes are becoming more complex. MC Marine is striving to achieve both safe operations and effective arrangement of the fleet through sophisticated services provided by an experienced staff. In an effort to prevent large-scale oil spills, MC, MC Marine and DT quickly moved to replace all of their single-hull tankers with a new fleet of double-hull vessels, and they are committed to giving due consideration to the environment when carrying out their business activities.
