  The Industrial Petroleum Marketing Unit sells fuel oil for general industry use, mainly in Japan.Mitsubishi Corporation handles a wide range of petroleum products, including fuel oil, middle distillate oil (kerosene, gas oil and heating oil), burning asphalt and petroleum coke. We facilitate the smooth and stable supply of petroleum products to customers, procuring them through import, the use of our own refineries and through direct trading with a number of different petroleum companies in Japan. We expect diversification of fuel sources and technologies will continue in Japan and elsewhere, and hope to play a leading role in the evolution of this industry, drawing particularly on the expertise we have acquired to provide consulting and advisory services on fuel sourcing and conversion.  Import export to and from Japan, and trading in Japan and offshore of fuel oil and asphalt for general industry use
