Utilizing our global and diverse resources and capabilities as part of general trading company, the Merchant Banking, M&A Division makes investments in solid, global high quality funds, including buyout investments, venture investments, principal investments and hedge fund investments. These investments enable us to create growth and to add value to our portfolio, by the system integrating with those above investments business.
In addition, integrally with the investment business, the Division provides financial services, including asset management operations with a focus on private equity.
In and outside Japan, new significant, global business opportunities have been atracting attention, including greater M&A activity. The Merchant Banking, M&A Division is delivering financial services that aim to develop business meeting the new needs of society and customers. It also aims to contribute to the restructuring and value-chain expansion of Mitsubishi Corporation.
