In the Power and Electrical Systems Division, we engage in a wide range of activities related to the electric business, from the supply and construction of equipment and facilities, to actual electricity production, in Japan and around the world. In this way, we are helping to expanding vital societal infrastructure. In addition, we export elevators and escalators worldwide and are involved in the operation of companies providing related sales and maintenance services in major regions.

In the Power & Electrical Systems Division, Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) engages in domestic and foreign trade as well as export and import of power generation facilities, power transmission and transformer facilities, environmental equipment and related facilities, targeting needs in Japan and around the globe. We are also engaged in domestic trade, export, and import of nuclear power facilities and related equipment, as well as the transport and import to Japan of nuclear fuel.
We are expanding our operations to include the development and operation of private power generation projects overseas, retailing of power in Japan, and on-site power generation projects.
Another aspect of our business involves export and foreign transactions of elevators and escalators, and the management of overseas sales and maintenance subsidiaries outside Japan.

We are actively engaged in the supply and construction of advanced power generation facilities for electric companies in Japan and infrastructure projects in rapidly growing overseas markets, mainly in Middle East, China and other Asian countries. By utilizing the experience and expertise gained from these endeavors, we are promoting private power generation projects in the U.S., Mexico, Asia, and other parts of the world. In recent years, we have also been developing the on-site power generation business, providing electricity and steam to industrial users in Japan. While proposing comprehensive energy supply solutions, we are also striving to provide added-value by realizing environmental benefits.
