Overview

Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) develops and implements projects across many industries through the Plant & Industrial Machinery Business Division.

Our services include not only export, import and domestic sales, but also financing, leasing, project development, and integrated transactions for plants and machinery in the petroleum, natural gas, chemical, steel and non-ferrous metals, and cement industries. We are also engaged in transactions of off-shore structures. Furthermore, our business extends to the identification and promotion of projects for metal and non-ferrous metal resources, mining and cement industries based on the needs of specific regions and customers. We are also engaged in a variety of infrastructure and -development projects, such as airport and bridge construction projects. In the field of industrial machinery, our operations involve the strategic sale of machinery for all types of manufacturing facilities as well as agriculture, printing and food-related businesses through our own sales subsidiaries. We have sales offices for plant in both the United States, China and India. Our business related to construction equipment includes rental businesses in Japan and sales offices in China.Today, global warming is widely recognized as a critical issue for all nations around the world.


Strategy

MC seeks to contribute to improving infrastructure, quality of life, and the environment through national and private investment projects in the fields of basic industry and social infrastructure in Japan and around the world. In the CDM Project Development Office, we seek to contribute to improving social infrastructure, quality of life, and the environment whenever national and private sector investment projects are being implemented to develop basic industries and infrastructure. We bring together our expertise in all areas to take the initiative in coordinating and supporting our clients' projects.

In the field of industrial and construction machinery, we intend to further expand upon existing products, trading, and rental business, while also focusing on the identification and development of new products and businesses.
