Mitsubishi Development Pty., Ltd.
A wholly-owned Australian subsidiary of the Mitsubishi Corporation established in 1968. The company has taken a stake in approximately ten coal mines together with major natural resource companies and produces approximately 28 million tons of coal a year, ranking among the top five producers in Australia.

MC Resource Trade Co., Ltd.
A Mitsubishi Corporation's wholly-owned subsidiary established on April 1, 2006, which sells raw materials for steel established on April 1, 2006. It mainly handles coking coal, iron ore, raw materials for stainless steel, raw materials for specialty steel, and globally expands its sales and transportation business of metal resources in excess demand.
