Wildscreen is a UK-based charity committed to harnessing the very best of the world's wildlife imagery and media to promote a greater understanding of the natural world.

One of Wildscreen's key focus areas is their ARKive project: a unique global initiative, gathering together the very best films and photographs of the world's species into one centralised digital library, to create a stunning audio-visual record of life on Earth. ARKive is freely accessible to all, from scientists and conservationists to the general public and school children, via its award-winning website - www.arkive.org. Today, 13 million people around the world use ARKive annually to learn about nature.

The MCFEA supported the ARKive project in 2006 and 2008, and in 2013, provided further support which will enable ARKive to create a Forests & Biodiversity section on the ARKive website.
