The Corporate Staff Section and the Corporate Planning Division contribute to increasing the global competitiveness of Mitsubishi Corporation (MC). Their activities include the utilization of expert knowledge in law, accounting, taxation, and finance from an international perspective. They are also engaged in the implementation of forward-looking policies that cover such areas as public relations, personnel affairs, regional strategies, and risk management.

Note: "Corporate" collectively refers to the Corporate Staff Section, the Corporate Planning Division, the Corporate Development Section and the Internal Audit Department.
