Overview
Shale gas is a new natural gas resource. Thanks to technological innovation, it is now possible to conduct mass production at low cost. This massive reserve is attracting worldwide attention.
The Shale Gas Business Unit is actively working to accumulate knowledge and know-how of the Shale Gas Business and develop and produce shale gas resources. It is also taking on the challenging task of developing new LNG projects in order to secure a stable supply of a next-generation energy resource.
