In the Ship, Aerospace & Transportation Systems Division, we provide total solutions targeted toward improvement of infrastructure, living standard and realization of a safer social environment, by handling equipment and systems related to transportation in all areas covering land, sea and aerospace, and by developing related businesses.

Ships and vessels; marine machinery, owning and operation of vessels; off-shore marine structures; rolling stock, signals, communications systems and transformer facilities for railways; railway project development; traffic control systems; satellite imaging and mapping services; defense-related equipment; defense aircraft, defense aircraft engines; space-related equipment and space development.

In the shipping industry, we conduct sales of ships, vessels, off-shore structures, ship-related machinery and ship-container related equipment; in addition, we engage in ship owning and operations. In the transportation industry, we are engaged in domestic and worldwide transactions of railway vehicles, signals, communications and railway electric substation facilities as well as domestic and overseas new urban transportation system. In the aerospace industry, we import and export aerospace-related systems and equipment, provide launch related services and are involved in the planning and development of space related projects. We also promote project development and sales of systems in the field of geographic and spatial information using the high-resolution imaging satellites. We also import aircraft, aircraft engines, electronic equipment and others for the Ministry of Defense of Japan.

We are engaged in transportation-related business for land, sea and aerospace, and at the same time, we are also developing a wide range of related businesses, including satellite services. We aim to provide total solutions to our customers in these fields, and to contribute to improving infrastructure and living standard and realizing a safe and secure society in Japan and on a worldwide basis.
