Through the Plant & Industrial Machinery Business Division, Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) is engaged in a broad range of businesses. In addition to trading transactions, financing, leasing, business development and integrated transactions for plants and machinery of the petroleum and natural gas energy industry and chemical industry; we also engage in the export, import and domestic sales of metal and non-ferrous metal machinery and cement production machinery. We are, moreover, expanding into a broad range of areas including business related to the transactions of off-shore structures. Furthermore, our business extends to both the exploration and advancement stages of projects, depending on the location and the client, and we are involved in metal and non-ferrous metal resources, cement, industrial machine related plants, overseas infrastructure construction, mining machinery among others. In the field of industrial machinery our operations involve the strategic sale of machinery for all types of manufacturing facilities as well as agriculture, printing and food-related businesses through our own sales subsidiaries. In the field of machine tools, in addition to its operations in the United States and Brazil, the company has also established sales offices in China and India. In the field of construction machinery, our rental business is yielding strong results in Japan, while overseas, we are achieving strong sales through our sales center in China.

MC seeks to contribute to improving infrastructure, quality of life, and the environment through national and private investment projects in the fields of basic industry and social infrastructure in Japan and around the world. In the CDM Project Development Office, we seek to contribute to improving social infrastructure, quality of life, and the environment whenever national and private sector investment projects are being implemented to develop basic industries and infrastructure. We bring together our expertise in all areas to take the initiative in coordinating and supporting our clients' projects.

In the field of industrial and construction machinery, we intend to further expand upon existing products, trading, and rental business, while also focusing on the identification and development of new products and businesses.
