Pacific Coast of Tohoku Earthquake:
Rescheduling of FY2012 Recruitment of University Graduates

We extend our sympathies to all those affected by the Tohoku earthquake. The victims and their families are in our thoughts as we pray for the quickest possible recovery in the afflicted areas.

Considering the impact of this disaster, and to ensure that all university graduates wishing to apply to Mitsubishi Corporation receive equal consideration, we have rescheduled our selection of new recruits for fiscal year 2012 (originally scheduled to begin on April 1), and extended the deadline for the submission of entry sheets. Selection will now begin on June 1.

We are considering giving those students in the Tohoku area another opportunity for selection after July 1, depending on how quickly internet services are restored in the afflicted regions. Our decision will be posted in due course on the recruiting home page.

1. Recruitment of New Graduates as Career Track Employees for FY2012
   The nationwide deadline for submission of entry sheets will be May 16, with selection of new recruits to begin after June 1.
2. Recruitment of New Graduates as Support Staff for FY2012 (ippan-shoku)
   Recruitment of support staff will only take place in the Tokyo area. The deadline for entry sheets will be sometime in mid June, and selection of candidates for interviews in late June. The detailed agenda will be posted on the recruiting home page once the exact dates are determined.
