Nihon Hospital Service Co., Ltd., Apprecia, Inc. and MC Medical, Inc. to Merge

 Mitsubishi Corporation has announced the merger of Nihon Hospital Service Co., Ltd.（Head Office: 9-11, Akasaka 2-Chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Toshio Goto）, Apprecia, Inc.（Head Office: 9-11, Akasaka 2-Chome, Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Katsutoshi Kitaura）. Nihon Hospital Service Co., Ltd. will change its company name to MC Healthcare, Inc., which makes MC Medical, Inc. （Head Office: 5-25, Nishishinjuku 7-Chome, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and Chief Executive Officer: Masatoshi Kimura） a wholly owned subsidiary company. The capital of MC Healthcare, Inc. will be 548 million yen and the merger will come into effect on April 1, 2010.

 

This merger will consolidate the functions of each company into a single, more efficient enterprise in the medical and healthcare industry. The newly integrated company hopes to provide a more refined array of services to meet customer hospitals’ needs.
