Plastic Fiber Optics & Cables - ESKA
The world's leading high performance plastic fiber optics and related cables, ESKA media are recognized for both their optical characteristics and their mechanical properties. ESKA product applications range from lighting/illumination to sensing and data transmission (both internal and network operation). We offer a variety of grades with a range of cable jackets.
Connectors and Termination Procedures Splitters
Mitsubishi International Corporation offers three connector and termination procedures. They are typical fiber optic cables and can be used with all ESKA fiber optic cables.
Added-Value Assembly Products using ESKA - North American market only
Mitsubishi International Corporation helps tailor ESKA fiber optics to the solutions our customers require by supporting design, engineering, and manufacturing specifics. This includes simple cutting, assembly, termination and shaping of fibers and cables. ESKA products are Rohs Compliant.
Transmitters and Receivers for Use with ESKA Products - North American market only
Mitsubishi International Corporation offers nine light emitting diode (LED) devices and eight photo-detectors. These low-cost, medium-frequency fiber optic devices can be used with our standard 1mm/2.2mm plastic optical fiber cables to provide an optimized physical connection between the active element and the optical fiber, without using a connector. ESKA products are Rohs Compliant.
FiberDVI Optical Cables
Mitsubishi International Corporation offers a Fiber Optic Transmission Medium (FOTM) that supports the Digital Video Interface (DVI) Standard. These cables will effectively transmit high-resolution video signals in a range up to 100m, free from EMI/RFI. The product's electronics and optics are built into the DVI connector. They are then combined with our mechanically strong optical fiber within a fire-retardant cable jacket, to be used in a video medium of choice. Pin-powered (I-type) FiberDVI products are not sold in the U.S.
