MC has established a comprehensive structure to safeguard the lives and safety of employees and their families while ensuring business continuity in the face of crises that may impact profitability or operations on a consolidated basis. This structure integrates each Business Group and Regional and National Crisis Management Office under the centralized leadership of the Emergency Crisis Management Officer.Following MC’s “all-hazard approach,” the system is designed to anticipate and respond to a wide range of risks, including natural disasters, terrorism, riots, emerging infectious diseases, supply chain disruptions, legal transgressions, and cyber incidents. It enables a unified and coordinated measure on a consolidated basis both during normal operations and in times of crisis. In the event of a serious incident affecting employee safety or critical business functions, MC will activate a company-wide response under the direction of the Emergency Crisis Management Officer. To further strengthen this framework, MC has implemented Consolidated Business Continuity Management (BCM) for its core business companies (selected from MC Group Companies). This initiative is designed to enhance the organization’s ability to respond effectively to major crises.BCM encompasses a comprehensive set of management activities based on risk and impact assessments tailored to each company’s business type and location. It includes the development of initial response protocols and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), establishment of a dedicated response structure, and implementation of an ongoing PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle through regular education and training.- 33 -Action under usual (prevention and Action in case of Serious incidentsInstructmeasuresReportConsolidated Business Continuity Management (BCM)Organizations in Charge (Related Corporate Sta‡ Departments and Business Groups) (Japan) Domestic Branch General ManagerNote: While companywide action to deal with serious incidents shall be taken under the direction of the Emergency Crisis Management O■cers, compliance-related incidents shall be dealt with under the direction of the Chief Compliance O■cers.Mitsubishi CorporationEmergency Crisis Management Headquartersconditions Emergency Crisis Management Headquarters (O■ce: Corporate Administration Department, preparation)Security & Crisis Management O■ce)emergency (Emergency Crisis Management O■cer: Executive Vice President Yoshiyuki Nojima)(Japan) Domestic Crisis Management O■ce Domestic crises(Natural and other disasters)Group Crisis Management O■ceOverseas crises (Terrorism, riots)Emerging infectious diseases(Group Crisis Management O■cer: Business Group CEO)CooperationMC Group Companies (Subsidiaries and A■liates in Japan and Overseas)All-Hazard Approach on a Consolidated Basis(Overseas) Regional and National Crisis Management O■ces (Regional/National Crisis Management O■cer: Other crises(Cyber terrorism, information leakage, violation of laws, defective products, environmental pollution, supply chain disruption, etc.)Regional CEO and Overseas O■ce General Manager)Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management on a Consolidated Basis
