Regional Transportation DX business

Mitsubishi Corporation is engaged in the mobility services business with the aim of solving regional transportation problems and contributing to the construction of a sustainable next-generation transportation model.
In 2019, Mitsubishi Corporation invested in Spare Labs Inc., a Canadian company that develops AI-powered transportation systems, and established Spare Technology Solutions Inc. for the introduction and maintenance of systems in Japan. Mitsubishi Corporation also established Next Mobility Co., Ltd. with Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co. Ltd, and began providing AI-powered on-demand bus systems and know-how to local governments and transportation companies nationwide facing transportation problems.
In 2020, Mitsubishi Corporation also formed a capital and business alliance with Denno-Kotsu, a company that provides solutions to taxi companies, with the aim of resolving issues facing the taxi industry.
In 2023, we established A-Drive Inc. with Aisan Technology Co., Ltd., and we are also working to support the implementation of autonomous driving in Japan with an eye toward the era of autonomous driving.
