The Urban Development Group endeavours to comprehensively fuse the expertise that Mitsubishi Corporation has accumulated in various sectors, including real estate, infrastructure, leasing and private equity to meet societal and environmental needs and to promote large-scale, value-added urban development projects. As for the Automotive and Mobility business, it strengthens and supports the sales and distribution of Mitsubishi vehicles in ASEAN regions, as well as develops future mobility business and invests mobility-related services widely in this region.

Urban Development Business

  • To identify investment and development opportunities for smart and sustainable real estate projects with leading Singapore-based developers for Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Myanmar, India and China markets.
  • To identify investment and collaboration opportunities in Proptech companies that develop unique and sustainable urban solutions.
  • To identify investment and collaboration opportunities for fund management businesses.

Asset Finance Business

  • To manage and support an Asia-focus Private Equity Fund to invest in high growth Asian companies.
  • To identify leasing opportunities to address challenges faced by business enterprises and helping them to enhance their corporate value over the medium to long term.
  • To develop and introduce structured financing products.

Urban Infrastructure Business

  • To identify development and investment opportunities in the following sectors.
    • - Digital Infrastructure Business: Data Centres and others
    • - Transport Infrastructure Business: Airport operations and others
    • - Water Business: Water supply operations and others

Automotive Business

  • To manage and support sales and distribution of Mitsubishi Motors products and Mitsubishi Fuso products in Indonesia, and Isuzu products in Thailand and other markets in ASEAN
  • To invest and support mobility related start-ups and explore the business opportunities in mobility service sector.
