Mitsubishi International Corporation ("MIC") was incorporated in 1954 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation. In 2012, Mitsubishi Corporation established Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas), with MIC as its wholly owned subsidiary, to support and coordinate the business activities of MIC and other subsidiaries of Mitsubishi Corporation in North America.

Please note that there are many companies that use the name "Mitsubishi" or a similar "three diamond" logo that are not parent companies, subsidiaries, or "sister" companies of Mitsubishi Corporation or Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas).
