Mitsubishi Corporation International (Europe) Plc has become aware of incidents involving the use of the name of Mitsubishi Corporation International (Europe) Plc and/or Mitsubishi Corporation by certain persons using false names who have no connection with us or our affiliates in attempts to conduct transactions designed to defraud members of the public. A recurring example has involved the unfounded suggestion that assistance is required in connection with clearing foreign checks or payment orders and that assistance with the proposed scheme would entitle the participant to financial benefits.
