About the MCFA

Founded in 1991, the mission of the Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation for the Americas (MCFA) is to contribute to realizing an inclusive society, empowering the next generation, and conserving the environment by addressing environmental and social issues in the Americas.

Since its inception the MCFA has supported more than 100 projects in 15 countries throughout the Americas.

Special Events

The Mitsubishi Corporation Foundation for the Americas has been sponsoring special events on environmental topics since 1993. These gatherings provide an opportunity for environmental organizations and grant-makers to network, learn about funding possibilities, and exchange ideas about environmental issues at both the local and international level. Events have featured topics such as biodiversity conservation, corporate engagement with indigenous peoples, and environmental justice.
