Major Social Contribution Activities
Mitsubishi Corporation focuses on social contribution activities in line with three overarching themes: "Realizing an Inclusive Society" "Empowering the Next Generation" and "Conserving Environment". In addition, Mitsubishi Corporation (Korea) Ltd. discovers and practices various social contribution activities every year as a member of Korean society on the basic concept of "Korea-Japan Exchange" "Environment" and "Employee Participation" and its main activities are as follows:
Promotion of Korea-Japan Exchange
From 2005, "Japan-Korea Friendship Year" which commemorates the 40th anniversary of the normalization of Japan-Korea relations, Mitsubishi Corporation (Korea) Ltd. annually participates in “Japan-Korea Exchange Omatsuri in Seoul”, providing social contribution through support of participants and visitors from both countries.
Cleaning activity in Jongno
In cooperation with the Jongno-gu Volunteer Center, we are making a contribution to the local community through clean environmental preservation through volunteer activities such as collecting garbage and checking for damage to sidewalks and roads while exploring historical and cultural sites on foot.
Holt Ilsan Welfare Town Support Activities
Employees have been volunteering since 2014 at the Holt Ilsan Center which was established after Harry Holt adopted orphans after the Korean War, to clean the facility, play with, bath and care for disabled children. We supported to disabled Group Home and HOLT Wheelchair Basketball Team. Also, we donated liquid feed to children who can not eat foods by mouth.
