African Leadership Academy

African Leadership Academy (ALA) was founded in 2004 and, since 2008, it has offered A-level equivalent study programs at its Johannesburg, South Africa campus for students aged 16-18. It also runs leadership programs for students aged 13-19. ALA's mission is to transform Africa by developing a powerful network of young leaders who will collaborate to address the continent's greatest challenges.
MCF for EMEA has partnered with ALA on a project to strengthen the pipeline of young African leaders and create opportunities for them to study in Japan through both scholarship and grant support.
