NELIS - Next Leaders’ Initiative for Sustainability

NELIS is a Japanese non-profit organisation that has been operating since 2015 and their programs are designed to address regional challenges through sustainable leadership development. The OML MENA Fellowship, run by NELIS is an integral component of a global movement aimed at nurturing over one million young leaders by 2030and specifically focuses on the socio-economic and environmental landscape of Arabic-speaking countries.

MCF for EMEA has partnered with NELIS to implement the OML MENA Fellowship Programme in the Middle East & North Africa, which in 2025 engaged 1809 young leaders across 19 Arabic speaking countries.
