The Industrial Infrastructure & Power Solutions department has operated in Singapore for more than 30 years, serving mainly local customers, as well as customers in the region for specific products from Japan.
Power Solutions Business
Together with Mitsubishi Corporation, the parent company, and Mitsubishi Corporation Machinery, We are actively involved in the development of reliable power solutions in Singapore.
We undertake construction of new power plants projects and provide long-term service agreement after equipment commence operations, and rehabilitate aging power generation facilities.
We aim to play a greater role in creating a decarbonized economy by promoting emerging green energy solution such as hydrogen in power generation.

Transportation Business
Mitsubishi Corporation is actively involved in the Singapore transportation sector in line with our group global activities.
We have secured the contract for the supply of Automated People Mover (APM) System for the Sengkang-Punggol LRT line which have served the residents there reliably for over 10 years. In 2016, the APM system was upgraded to 2-car operation to cater for increased passenger rate.
We have also secured the contract for the supply of APM System for Changi Airport, "Skytrains" and alongside the contract for provision of Operation and Maintenance services for the system.
We will be continuing our efforts to pursue such related projects in the Singapore transportation sector.

Compressor Business
With Mitsubishi Corporation Machinery, we handle the sales and after-sales services of compressors manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Compressor Corporation (MCO) for petrochemical plants such as ethylene, oil refineries and FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading).
We undertake revamping projects and support periodic turnaround to the major refineries and chemical plants in Singapore.
Shipping
We support the activities of MC Shipping Singapore Branch (MCSS), which provides accounting, commercial, and technical management services to our ship owning SPCs trading in the international bulk shipping market. In addition, MCSS also handles other ship related business (inclusive of trading and business development) in SE Asian region.
Elevator & Escalator
We support the activities of Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Established over 48 years ago, it acts as the sole distributor (sales, installation and maintenance) of elevators, escalators and moving walks manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO).
Mitsubishi Elevator has supplied elevators, escalators and moving walk to prestigious buildings like Mandarin Orchard, Changi Airport Terminal 2, Ocean Financial Centre and One Raffles Quay, etc.
The company has also supplied around 2,000 units of elevator to Housing & Development Board (HDB) for their HDB flats since 1999. In addition, during 2019 -2020, it received orders of around 500 units of elevator from HDB and various Town Councils.
Mitsubishi elevators, escalators and moving walks have continuously earned high reputation in terms of safety, reliability and comfort in Singapore.
Past Business/Projects
Large-scale District Cooling System
- More than 16 units of centrifugal chillers for a large-scale district cooling system at Marina Bay DCS Plant No. 1 & No. 2.
Singapore Flyer
- In collaboration with Takenaka Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, we have been commissioned to build the facility on a turn-key basis, and as well as the role of finance-facility provider for 30 months when the Singapore Flyer is completed in early 2008.
- The Flyer is termed as part of the "necklace of attractions" in Marina Bay, together with the other exciting projects such as the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resorts, the Gardens by the Bay and the new business & financial centre.
Environmental Management
- We have constructed the Tuas Incineration Plant, Tuas South Incineration Plant and the Senoko Incineration Plant.
- Other projects in this area includes refuse transfer station and offshore landfill.
- We have also supplied E&M equipment to the various sewage treatment works such as the Ulu Pandan Sewage Treatment Works and Kranji Sewage Treatment Works.
Energy Management Service Business
- We have forged a partnership with Azbil Corporation (Previously called Yamatake Honeywell) to establish business in energy management service.
- Utilizing Azbil's advanced technology in Energy Management Software, we can provide optimization energy solution for industrial and residential building during operation.
