The Industrial Infrastructure & Power Solutions department has operated in Singapore for more than 30 years, serving mainly local customers, as well as customers in the region for specific products from Japan.
Mitsubishi Corporation has long been associated with the environmental business as a major player in the construction of environmental infrastructures which have contributed to the Green and Clean garden city image of Singapore.
Our salient achievements are evident in the repeated numbers of contracts which Mitsubishi had secured through the most stringent requirement and standard by the Ministry of Environment. To date, we have built three out of the four incineration plants in Singapore. One of which is renowned as one of the world largest plants with the latest state-of-the-art features to boost efficiency.
Other track records in the solid waste disposal management include refuse transfer station and offshore landfill.
In the field of water and waste water treatment facilities, Mitsubishi is also actively pursuing municipal projects which enhance the quality of portable water and operational reliability of the sewerage system. Numerous projects were awarded to Mitsubishi for works relating to the mechanical and electrical equipment of the existing sewerage treatment works.

Shipping & Shipbuilding
In addition to our business activities in Singapore, we have also make a foray in the regional countries by offering services related to shipping and shipbuilding through financing, chartering, cargo findings, sales and purchase, supply of marine equipment as well as brokerage work.
With Singapore's prominent geographic location, we have based our ship-owning fleet for bulk carrier and oil tanker in Singapore
Moving around Singapore is relatively easy and fast with the efficient public transport network, offering taxis, buses, Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rapid Transit (LRT). Our involvement in these businesses has helped create a world class transportation system. We are continuing our effort to pursue E&M related business in high speed rail and light rail projects. Mitsubishi Corporation has secured contracts for providing:
- Power supply equipment and cabling for North-East Line
- Light Rapid Transit System (LRT) for Sengkang and Punggol new towns
- Automated People Mover system (APM) for Changi Airport
- Comprehensive Maintenance for 10 years for power supply equipment and cabling for North-East Line
- Comprehensive Operation and Maintenance Contract for Automated People Mover System (APM) for Changi Airport
- In 2013 we were contracted by LTA to upgrade the Sengkang and Punggol LRT to a 2-car system operation.
Elevator & Escalator
We support the activities of Mitsubishi Elevator (Singapore) Pte Ltd. Established over 30 years ago, it acts as the sole distributor (sales, installation and maintenance) of elevators and escalators manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO).
More recently, Mitsubishi Elevator has supplied elevators and escalators to prestigious buildings like Caribbean, One Raffles Quay, etc.
The company has supplied about 1,500 units of elevator to Housing Development Board (HDB) for their HDB flats. In 2016, it received an additional order of 303 elevators for the first time in 15 years.
In addition to taking care of customers in Singapore, we also take care of the customers in the region, directly and indirectly, by supporting MELCO's distributors in countries like Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar.
Since MELCO is aiming to expand their elevator and escalator business worldwide, we, as the global partner of MELCO, would follow their policy by supporting their distributors in sales and management.
We are actively involved in the development of reliable power solutions in Singapore.

Large-scale district cooling system
Mitsubishi has been supplying more than 16 units of centrifugal chillers for a large-scale district cooling system at Marina Bay DCS Plant No. 1 & No. 2 since 2005. The orders were placed by Singapore District Cooling Pte Ltd, a joint venture between Singapore Power Limited, and Dalkia
The district cooling system for Marina Bay will be developed in phases to keep pace with the plan to transform Marina Bay area into the new downtown, and where fully developed, it is expected to have an installed capacity of about 256,000RT
Energy Management Service Business
Due to the impact of climate change, creating sustainable environment with steady economy growth has been a hot button issue for the world. Energy efficiency is deemed as low hanging fruits which it can be reaped from energy process.
We have forged a partnership with Azbil Corporation (Previously called Yamatake Honeywell) to establish business in energy management service. In adopting Azbil's advanced technology in Energy Management Software, we can provide optimization energy solution for industrial and residential building during their operation.
In collaboration with Takenaka Corporation and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, we have been commissioned to build the facility on a turn-key basis, and as well as the role of finance-facility provider for 30 months when the Singapore Flyer is completed in early 2008.
The Flyer is termed as part of the "necklace of attractions" in Marina Bay, together with the other exciting projects such as the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resorts, the Gardens by the Bay and the new business & financial centre.
We handle the global sales of compressors manufactured by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Compressor Corporation (MCO) for petrochemical plants such as ethylene, oil refineries and FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading). Its activities range from identifying leads through to marketing, sales, execution, and after-sales service.
