Receipt of Statement of Objections from the European Commission

Cermaq Group AS, a 100% wholly owned subsidiary Mitsubishi Corporation, has received a Statement of Objections from the European Commission on January 25th, 2024 concerning suspected violations of European competition laws in the Norwegian Atlantic Salmon aquaculture and marketing business. We have also received the Statement as the parent company on the same day.

 

We and Cermaq Group AS are fully cooperating with the authorities in their investigation.
We will carefully examine the details of this Statement of Objections and thoughtfully consider how to respond in the future.

 

We will refrain from further comment on this matter until the European Commission makes a final decision.
