MC has interests in 12 LNG
projects in the US, Asia, and other parts of the world, its equity production from which meets roughly 20% of Japan's LNG demand.

MC has a wholly owned mine in Australia, from which it exports sand to Japan and other parts of Asia as a raw material for glass production. Each year, all of the sand exported by MC would make a pane of glass large enough to cover all of Tokyo's 23 wards.

MC's is developing its Australian metallurgical coal businesses in conjunction with BHP, one of the world's largest resource majors.

In Indonesia, MC is leveraging real-estate development expertise from Japan and around the world to build new communities. The land owned by MC's operations is equivalent to 22 Tokyo Domes.

MC's motor-vehicle businesses are mainly concentrated in ASEAN, with a history of more than 50 years in Indonesia and more than 60 years in Thailand.

MC is engaged in aquaculture operations in Norway, Chile, and other parts of the world, which make it among the world's largest salmon producers. MC's operations harvest enough salmon to make roughly 8 billion pieces of sushi a year.

MC's Smart-Life Creation Group has interests in retail stores all over the world, which combined are visited by more than 10 million people per day on average.

MC is engaged in renewables-driven power projects in Europe, the US, and other parts of the world, its combined equity capacity from which is enough to power 3 million households per year.
