Whereas we acknowledge ensuing discussions with the aforementioned Mitsubishi Motors Corporation shareholders regarding a tender offer and the modification of the capital investment structure of the “Three Mitsubishi Companies” resulting in Mitsubishi Motors Corporation becoming an equity method affiliate of Mitsubishi Corporation, the information published in the newspaper is not based on any decision disclosed by the company. Prompt disclosure will be provided, as appropriate, once the final decision is reached.
