Be Aware of Scam Emails Impersonating Mitsubishi Corporation's Executives !

MC has recently become aware of cases of email spoofing, in which malicious third parties have been distributing emails impersonating our company officers.

Please understand that MC has no associations whatsoever with these fraudulent emails, and we strongly advise all our customers, partners, suppliers and business associates to be equally wary of their existence. They often appear as fake job offers or other phony incentives, and engaging with the senders can invite the risk of personal information leaks. 

The most recent reports involve emails arriving from addresses like "hr@mitsubishi-jp[dot]com" or "hrteam@mitsubishi-corporations[dot]com" (in which the actual dot (period) preceding "com" has been replaced by the word "dot"). These addresses are affiliated with neither MC nor any of its group companies.   

Once again, we remind all our stakeholders to please be aware of this matter and to closely check the domains of all incoming emails, as it is possible that emails may be sent from other domains that are similarly disguised to appear to be from our executives or employees.
