Our operations cover food resources, fresh foods, consumer products, food ingredients and other products. We are active in every link of the supply chain, from the production and sourcing of raw materials to the manufacturing of finished food products.

Food Sciences Division

Food Sciences Division is developing high-value-added businesses in the food and health segments with Mitsubishi Corporation Life Sciences Limited, a subsidiary which belongs to the “managing” sub-category, at the core.
Leveraging our business expertise in the food science segment and bio-medical segment, we are pursuing business in the health-related segment, for which the market is expanding due to the urbanization and aging of society with the increased economic power in emerging countries, as well as the increasing social demands of developed nations such as controlling healthcare costs.

Food Resources Division

As the division with the responsibility of procuring raw materials and stable supply of grains, animal feed and food raw materials, the Food Resources Division is continually strengthening its competitiveness in the face of changes in the environment, while focusing on sustainability management and developing the sourcing, manufacturing, processing and sales businesses. By reacting sensitively to changes in the market environment and industry structure both in Japan and overseas, and continually innovating the supply chain, we are working to build and strengthen the business platform required to supply products that match consumer needs.

Corn, milo, wheat, barley, soybean, rapeseed, compound feed materials, coffee, cocoa, confectionary ingredients, sesame seed, edible nuts, spices, dried vegetables, oils and fats, oil and fat products, etc.

Fresh Food Products Division

The Fresh Food Products Div. reliably provides fresh foods such as fish, meat, rice, vegetables, dairy products etc., as well as processed goods, while meeting consumers' needs, through a vertically integrated business model that encompasses production, procurement, manufacturing, processing, and sales activity.
The Fresh Food Products Div. flexibly responds to changes in population, industry and consumption structure, and proactively and autonomously manages each business from upstream to downstream, keeping consumers' perspectives in mind. The Fresh Food Products Div. is, , achieving sustained growth in the various business while ensuring competitive advantages by improving cost competitiveness, adding value, etc. Also, in regard to personnel training, while coordinating with each company in Mitsubishi Group, the Fresh Food Products Div. is training personnel who have field capabilities and can keep the “customer first” policy in mind.

Consumer Products Division

Consumer Products Div. is engaged in a wide range of manufacturing and sales related to consumer necessities in domestic and overseas markets. By consolidating the manufacturing and sales business related to consumer necessities, we will strengthen the knowledge of the consumer goods business that MC has cultivated over the years.
We strive to expand Japan's quality products and services into overseas market, thereby providing new values with Japanese businesses and global consumers in hopes of helping solve societal challenges.

Consumer goods such as processed foods, confectionery, beverages, canned goods, instant noodles, seasonings, milled flour, sugar, starches, starched products, and other daily necessities.
