Formulation of “Mitsubishi Corporation Principles of Corporate Governance”
Mitsubishi Corporation (MC) transitioned from a Company with an Audit & Supervisory Board to a Company with an Audit & Supervisory Committee, following approval at MC’s 2024 Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders held on June 21, 2024, as announced in the “Notice Regarding Transition to a Company with an Audit & Supervisory Committee” on March 15, 2024 and the “2024 Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders” on June 21, 2024.
By taking the opportunity of transition to a Company with an Audit & Supervisory Committee, MC formulated “Mitsubishi Corporation Principles of Corporate Governance” in order to clearly provide stakeholders with MC’s basic policy on corporate governance which MC should consistently maintain over the medium to long term.
In accordance with these Principles, MC continues to strengthen its corporate governance and lead to its sound and sustainable growth and continuous increase of corporate value.
