About Us
Contributing to Society through Business Firmly Rooted in Principles of Integrity and Fairness, the Three Corporate Principles have served as Mitsubishi Corporation's core philosophy since the company’s inception, inspiring us to continually improve the way we address our economic, environmental, and social responsibilities around the world.
Our Key Strengths
Here we highlight some of MC’s key strengths that have been the driving force behind our growth to date.

MC’s strength lies in our ability to make flexible investment decisions depending on a variety of strategies, business characteristics, and business phases (Our Broad Touchpoints). This is made possible by the core competencies we have developed over time throughout a wide range of industries and across our extensive global network (
The Evolution of Our Business Model).
Our growth is also attributable to our deep-rooted business and operational management expertise.
That expertise, together with our multiple business segments, form a foundation for the continued creation of new businesses to grow corporate value.

The Evolution of Our Business Model
MC has flexibly changed our business models, from our founding as a trading company to minority investments upstream and downstream, to business investments for business operations, and eventually to business management. Leveraging our accumulated industry knowledge and diversity, MC has always worked to create value by actively capturing new growth opportunities, to adapt to the changing business environment.
