Power Solution Group
The Power Solution Group is composed of two divisions, the Environmental Business Division and the New Energy & Power Generation Division. Underpinned by its core strategy in power generation and environmental businesses, our Group takes a comprehensive approach to meeting diversifying electricity needs.
To help realize a low-carbon society, we continue to expand our businesses in distributed solar power generation and other renewable energies, which can reduce global warming. Our Group is also actively involved in lithium-ion batteries, an essential component for today's environmentally friendly electric vehicles, and next-generation energy businesses like hydrogen.
Not only is our Group helping to secure stable energy supplies by combining renewables and other clean sources with digital technologies, but it is also playing its part to build sustainable societies and raise corporate value by balancing supply and demand and otherwise offering new added value to our customers.
Environmental Business Division
In addition to developing, manufacturing and selling lithium-ion batteries, an area in which further growth is expected for automotive and industrial applications, the Environmental Business Division is developing businesses that blend electric power and batteries, such as providing services to customers by holding and using batteries for e-mobility or in areas without access to electricity. In addition, we are working on a wide range of initiatives for new businesses in the environmental sector, including the development of next-generation energy sources, such as hydrogen, in order to achieve a low-carbon society.
